Following is the initial response from Royal Caribbean International ® six weeks after sending them our letter about the incident from our "Cruise from Hell". Our letter was mailed on June 8, 1998: For privacy concerns, I have exchanged the name of my fiance for the number Royal Caribbean International® turned us into as noted below. Aside from my fiances name, the letter is verbatim as we received it.

We were very pleased you selected Royal Caribbean International for your cruise. However, we were very sorry to learn of your injury during a shore excursion tour. We hope you are recovering well. In regards to this matter, your letter has been forwarded to the Risk Management Department where each concern will be researched and addressed by one of our representatives.
