The RoyalCaribbeanSucks.com Web site is being developed
because of the total lack of corporate responsibility and compassion
Royal Caribbean International ® has shown as concerns a "cruise
from hell" my fiance and I were unfortunate enough to book with
them in March of 1998.
On that cruise an incident with a
Royal Caribbean International ® vendor resulted in an accident in
which my girlfriend was bodily harmed from head to toe, told she might
have spinal cord damage and have to have surgery in Mexico, and had
our bags packed and put off ship without our knowledge while we were
at a hospital in Mexico having an MRI procedure.
After
sending them a detailed account of the incident, they responded six
weeks later by telling us they received the letter and would pass it
along to the Risk Management Department of the company and please wait
6 weeks for a reply. We then waited 6 weeks for the reply which stated
the Risk Management Department did receive the forwarded letter and it
would be reviewed, please wait 3 weeks for a reply. The reply which
followed, in three weeks, stated that they would take no
responsibility for the incident and would pass it along to their
vendor for review, please wait again. The accident which started this
whole mess, as you will read at the link titled "The Cruise from
Hell", was a small part of the entire incident that ensued but of
which Royal Caribbean International ® seems to not want to
acknowledge.
I don't think so. This Web site is in response
to the arrogance of Royal Caribbean International ® in not owning
up to their corporate responsibility. We await their reply which we
will respond to....... in about six weeks.
They have given
new meaning to the slogan "Like No Vacation On Earth "
